Jiangjie (Becket) is a software engineer at Alibaba where he mostly focuses on developing Flink and its ecosystem. Prior to Alibaba, Becket worked at LinkedIn to build streams infrastructures around Apache Kafka. Becket is a PMC member of Apache Flink and Apache Kafka.

Seth Wiesman is a Solutions Architect at Ververica, where he works with engineering teams inside of various organizations to build the best possible stream processing architecture for their use cases.

Regina Chan is a Senior Engineer at Goldman Sachs in the Data Architecture team building solutions to service the firm’s growing demand for data. She is one of the original members of the Data Lake team building it from the ground up and has been leading the effort in rebuilding using Flink.

Sijie Guo is the co-founder and CEO of StreamNative, which provides a cloud-native event streaming platform powered by Apache Pulsar. Sijie has worked on messaging and streaming data technologies for more than a decade. Prior to StreamNative, Sijie cofounded Streamlio, a company focused on real-time solutions. At Twitter, Sijie was the tech lead for the messaging infrastructure group, where he co-created DistributedLog and Twitter EventBus. Prior to that, he worked on the push notification infrastructure at Yahoo!, where he was one of the original developers of BookKeeper and Pulsar. He is also the VP of Apache BookKeeper and PMC member of Apache Pulsar.

Aaron Levin is a mathematician-turned-radio-DJ-turned software engineer working on Stripe’s real-time data team (✨Streaming✨). Aaron used to live in Berlin, but now lives in Canada’s Berlin (Montréal - not to be mistaken with Berlin, Ontario).

Piyush is a Staff Development Lead in Criteo’s AI Lab. His work involves building data infrastructure solutions to accelerate the pace of Machine Learning innovation at Criteo. Previously, he worked on various big-data libraries like Scalding, Algebird and Parquet at Twitter. In his free time, he's found either trail running or curled up with a book (typically not at the same time).

Renu Tewari leads the streaming infrastructure team at Linkedin which is the home of Kafka, Samza, and Brooklin. Prior to that she led the Kafka and Flink teams at Cloudera. She has over 20 years of experience in the field with an avid interest in stream processing architectures, big data and filesystems. She graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mammad Zadeh is currently leading the Intuit Data Platform team and is responsible for the data and machine learning platforms. He was previously heading the real-time data infrastructure at LinkedIn, responsible for streaming and persistence technologies, overseeing the development and operationalization of Kafka, Samza, Espresso, Voldemort, and related technologies. Prior to that he held leadership and architecture positions at Netflix and Yahoo. Mammad is also a musician, and an occasional music producer, photographer, and enjoys coaching and mentoring talent.
