Program Committee Chair 

Caito is a Software-Engineer-turned-Developer-Advocate. She represents the US region for Ververica (formerly Data Artisans, creators of Apache Flink) and is based in Portland, Oregon. She has presented her work with stream processing and data analytics at various meetups and conferences (mainly in the US and Europe). Outside of tech, she loves running, dance, woodworking, and terrible puns.

Shriya leads Personalization Data Engineering at Netflix. The team is responsible for building data systems that provide inputs to the ML algorithms that power the Netflix experience.

Austin Cawley-Edwards is a Senior Software Engineer at Ververica, focused on the Ververica Platform and cloud-native Flink. As a previous data platform lead and user of Flink on Kubernetes, working with Ververica has allowed him to be even closer to his favorite communities. He's also a maintainer of the CNCF Service Mesh project Kuma and loves his dog.

Yuan Mei is currently the architect of Flink Engine at Alibaba, focusing on improving the runtime architecture for stream processing. She was a research scientist at Facebook before joining Alibaba, and she was one of the main contributors of Turbine: Facebook’s service management platform for stream processing. She has various experiences building streaming systems and many other data systems at Facebook as well. She holds a Ph.D. from MIT CSAIL.

Lakshmi is a software engineer at Splunk, working on the next-gen large scale stream processing platform. Prior to Splunk, Lakshmi was one of the early engineers on the streaming platform team at Lyft, where she built the core infrastructure for running Flink jobs in production and co-authored the open source Flink Kubernetes Operator project.

Zhenzhong (Z) is an Engineering Manager at Netflix supporting the Stream Processing Platform team. Z is passionate about speed, all the way from racing motorcycles on a track to scaling a team to build fast processing systems that deliver joy to hundreds of millions of Netflix users.

Krzysztof is a passionate about technologies hands-on architect and builder of big data solutions. Over last 12 years he helped building many big data, stream processing, analytics, and data science solutions for enterprises, large and smaller startups. Playing also a CTO role at Getindata he leads research of next generation platforms around DataOps, MLOps and stream processing, defining solution blueprints and the best engineering practices that maximize success rate of Getindata projects.
